jus sold my 93 gt and bought a 96 gt. but its not the same as my 50 so i'm not sure on wat parts to gain cheap hp. ne good advice

sell it they have non pi heads every thing cost more than a fox and swapping it to pi is not worth it plus they are heavier i had a 96 and they are slugs

not woorth putting money into it trust me i had a 02 gt and it took alot but if you really want to start with pi heads cam intake then some gears and bottle

yea it doesnt pull no where near as hard as my 5.0 did. but this one has no power nething inside. its like a base model. so mite b lighter than normal. but idk

4v cobra engine swap, 4.30 gears, high flow mid pipe.

yup, 96-98 GT's are weak. Even with the pi swap they still suck. Sell it while you can and get another fox or a 4 valve 4.6

96gt where rated 215hp from factory 5speed.
Add pi heads pi intake and cams you get 10~15rwhp over a stock 99~04.
Add boltons to a 99~04 you get stock bhead 4v hp numbers
I'm currently doing what BLIND suggesting right now to my 96gt vert
