Rick I dropped my motor off and seen ur car in hibernation ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) I just winged it and drove around looking for bailey loop ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) , Mine should be done in a few weeks, fully forged,stageIII heads with custom blower cams + KB 2.2 ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif) OH yeah did I mention I registered it in a smog excempt county ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif)

Yah, my baby's almost done. I can't wait. Sounds like yours is gonna be kickin' as well. HCI does good work. Cole builds 'em up nicely .....Now where are you registered, I could definitley use that, NO WAY mine passes smog with the current setup ![[Frown]](frown.gif) .

thats crazy i heard that in the withn the next two years all of those counties such as ake, lassen, etc. will all require smog.

i had a bad experience with hci. Travis especially. They don't take ownership of their mistakes. I had to go to force fed to fix the problem. Of course they blamed the tune, i assure you it wasn't the tune.

hopefully it was not as bad as my fun time at CDT. I left with a blown engine from a jacked up install and tuning AND a $ 800 bill to go with it.. a year and 6K later I'm almost back up.. I dont remember signing a release for that day also... hummmmmm

...Yeah, I jacked it up again. I downshifted from 6th to 1st(trying to go to 3rd)on the freeway ![[Eek!]](eek.gif) ![[Embarrassed]](redface.gif) ...broke 2 plugs which tore up 2 cylinders. How the hell I managed that is beyond me ![[Confused]](confused.gif) So essentially, it's gonna be whole new motor when it's done...and of course a few more goodies, as usual, while the motor is out. Cant' wait,HCI has always done good work on my car.

i have had no experiences with hci.but i do know that no matter what youre dealing with(cars,etc)youre gonna make a mistake from time to time.i suppose the bad experience would be how you deal with it after the mistake.i do all my own work but if i was gonna pay some one to do my car it would either be aed(have met drew and seen the work) or hci(untill this thread have heard nothing but good)but thats just my .02

best chance you got is to try and have the person who registers your car put a "D" in the space where it says what kind of "Motive power" you have. then smog wont even pop up. inside secret

Does that have somthing to do with diesils? Cause those are gonna have to smog soon too and you gotta get some 2k part to install so it will pass. At least thats what I heard.

DAMN I WISH I WOULD HAVE SEEN THIS THREAD EARLIER I EXPERIENCED THE SAME CRAP WITH H.C.I. AND TRAVIS HES A LIAR AND A THIEF I SPENT $20,000 AND LEFT WITH $00,000 A STRAIGHT PEICE OF $H!T AND OF COURSE THEY DONT TAKE ANY BLAME FOR THERE MISTAKE...THEY BLAMED THE ELECTRICAL, THE COMPUTER, THE TUNE... AND OF COURSE ME THEY HAD THE CAR FOR MONTHS I GOT THE CAR FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND THEY SAY IT WAS ME LMFAO SCREW H.C.I. MOTORSPORTS IM GOIN TO DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO BRING THEM DOWN... YOU WOULD THINK WITH $20,000 GS THEY'D TAKE CARE OF YOU BUT THEY DIDNT... SO ILL SEE THEM IN COURT AND ILL NEVER STOP TALKIN BAD BOUT THEM ... JUST DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THEM
