I am new to the DOHC cars, and was wondering what I need to do to install a 03/04 Cobra supercharger set up on my 97 Cobra. With everyone swapping to a Kenne Bell blower, there are plenty of these Eatons out there. Just curious to see if anyone has done this.

I dont think it will work. You would have to fab up an intake I think. These eatons are 03 specific. You should go vortech.

You will need 03 Cobra heads, not really worth it in my opinion.

99 and up heads is what you need.
I'd rather settle with an S trim.
400 rwhp no problem and you don't have to crack open that low milage motor. [ December 21, 2004, 11:05 PM: Message edited by: Fostang ]

Very true, and it sounds as though that might be the best option. I am waiting on gears though to see what I want to end up doing with the car. Carve corners, or drag the crap out of it???

Either way 3.73's minimum.

I wouldn't do that. That V8 can be plenty powerful without a blower.
Personally, I'd just keep it N/A. Unless it is not powerful enough, then get a blower.

Well if I had my way it would have 4.56's but this car is probably not for that kind of abuse man It has like than 20K if I remember correctly.

13K actually... I think 4:30's are the way to go. I think it will stay N/A, and just do a CAI, pulleys, 01 Cobra intake, timing adjuster or maybe a Superchip tuner, with the gears, subframe connectors, and a new set of rims and tires. What do you think???

That sounds like a plan. What about a short shifter? Can't forget that.
