Can someone tell me please, if that 28lb chevey injectors are 24lb ford injectors, i can get them free if they are 24lb for ford cars, i have a pro m mass air meter calibrated for 24 so i was wondering if these 28lb would work for me without a bad idle. thanks mario.

Are these off a LS1? The lb rating of an injector directly relates to the fuel pressure ran through it. For example, if a Chevy 28 lbs injector was rated at 55 psi, it would actually be a 24 lbs injector in our 40psi fuel pressure Mustangs. Makes sense? You need to find out what fuel pressure this 28 lbs injector was rated it.

ok, yeah it does make sense they came off a z06 ls1, and they are rated at 55 psi, so does that mean i have to run my fuel pressure at 40 psi. so should i have any problem. thanks mario.

ok i just read that 28lb injectors are rated at 58 psi, so that means on a mustang they would be 24lb at a rated psi of 43.5.

That makes perfect sense. I just ran some rough numbers earlier... but if you want to be exact: 43.5 psi = 3 BAR exactly, which is what our Mustangs are rated at, and 58 psi = 4 BAR which is what the LS1's are rated at. Now if you find out if LS1 injectors fit in LT1's, you'll know if they fit in our stangs.
