The round adapters slide into the end of the wrench. The adapters are apex's (basically long Allen wrenches). The entire wrench is MAYBE 3" long. It operates in both inch-pounds and neuton-centimeters (for you metric types).
Now, one might ask "what the hell do you need a torque wrench that small for?" Dental implants, of course!
This was used on me this morning to finish my last installation. Some of you know I've been going through MAJOR dental reconstruction due to a car accident 15+ yrs ago (broken upper facial plate, lost 4 teeth). Technological advances finally convinced me to take the plunge and have the work done. 6 bone implants, numerous surgeries, and titanium sockets inserted in my upper jaw- not to mention 22 months later. I'm done!
And if any of you are curious, the torque on the screws was 20 neuton-centimeters.

that's cool, but just reminded me about yesterday when I had 3 fillings done on my front teeth.
I don't mind the needles, I just keep my eyes shut as soon as I hit the chair
