I just bought a mustang with mods it bogs out in lower rmp's and sometime even in high rpm's the motor has the following upgrades: edelbrock heads, edelbrock upper & lower intake, 1.6 scorpian rr, b-303 cam, 24lb injectors, 70m mass airflow, 75m throttlebody and spacer, bbk fuel pressure regulator, bbk under drive pulleys, bbk long tube headers...do I need to get a tune on it? Or can you mess with it? Lmk I want it to run nice and solid for a daily driver...lmk thanks

Posted by dvuspny (Member # 10949) on :

Yeah...i can look at it and have you show me on a drive what it does.....sounds like lean or not enough fuel. Any other mod?

Posted by 88cobraclone (Member # 10958) on :

I have 5-lug stuff available if you are still interested. Must come see what i have available for parts and services. Start there and map out your plans in stages. First lets get this running correctly.

Posted by 88cobraclone (Member # 10958) on :

Sounds good but this one already has 5 lug conversion already.....might just get the cobra calipers. But right now I just wanna get it running solid....

What is the deal with the egr and making difficult to tuck wires? I hear it won't pass visual for smog.

Posted by dvuspny (Member # 10949) on :

Wiretuck has nothing to do with "smog" visual inspections. However. ...Yes;the egr must be functional and the harness plugged in. In the Wiretuck i don't by-pass or have to cut the harness unless to repair a connector or damaged wiring section. If the harness is in a healthy useable status; i will use it as is, re-route and re-wrap it.

thats probably because they moved the charcoal canister, which must be visible to pass smog, i kept mine in the stock location when i tucked my wires and the egr stuff is all there and functional

Posted by dvuspny (Member # 10949) on :

True....maybe that's what happened for you! ???? Not sure bout that on your end. I have a few options i use for the location or movement of the charcoal canister. I have never had a smog issue at all during all the Wiretuck projects i have completed.

Ttt....awsome work

Posted by dvuspny (Member # 10949) on :

$300. and up.........
Depends on what may need repairs.or replaced. And wiring in add-ons.
Also depends if i agree to be mobile to complete the project; then there is addtional costs for travel time and fuel. Usually a days work. Sometimes can be a couple days work to complete the project. [patriot]

I have seen many attempts at this....
I have not seen one as clean and untouched as i install them.

Usually I see peoples best attempts with hacked up harnesses....mis routed....unsecured wiring... And most of all; i don't see people weather proofing the connections and harness.

When my installs are completed; they can be installed and used with same confidence in the factory harness. The harness can also be removed and reused again for purposes such as painting. part out. or even into another customer project. [patriot] [patriot] [patriot] [patriot] [patriot]
