Thats a sweet jungle gym you got there! Do you have any type of weld-in subframe connectors for a 67 stang??? Do not need install, just the part, hook it up with the new years price!

unfortunatly, we dont have anything for the 67 stang chassis.....just mainly for the 94-04, and new 05/06 parts are about to be released....

That Extreme Sub Frame connector set-up is cool, but do you have something like that for the Fox?

Posted by Mach0ne351 (Member # 927) on :

the fox set is in development STILL [Mad] , but because the sn95 still uses the same chassis, fabrication can be done to the brackets and fitting of the subframes to make it work. i know, im gettin a little frustrated that HRC is still workin on getting more fox parts out there.....

And who is SPEC -Fabrication ?

SPEC-Fabrication is located in Valejo. So, if your in the east bay, and dont wanna drive to the south/peninsula for installation, SPEC-Fab is the place. in the south bay/peninsula area, apex is recommended. they have good experience installing HANS products. it takes a GREAT EXPERIENCED welder to install these products. HRC products are built strong, far beyond most, and it requires PROPER installation. no mickey mouse products here haha

I installed mine w/ the help of my buddy at a body shop & I'd never welded ANYTHING in my life!! hahaha. Looked kinda nasty, but it never went anywhere.
*PS I loved my RSTB. I don't care what anyone says, the squeakin in my rearend went away as soon as it was installed.

What part of Vallejo is Spec fabrication located?

Posted by stangboi (Member # 6315) on :

whats the differance between these and global west sfcs. i like the idea of a tube connector. are these as good as globals? and why do they cost a lot more?

Posted by Mach0ne351 (Member # 927) on :

these are better then GW units. they are lighter, and the welding is alot better. also, GW doesnt us angeled crossbraces on their Xtreme subframes. angel crossbraces add some more strength.

Posted by stangboi (Member # 6315) on :

i called a fab shop and they said that the globals are better because they have gussets that help connect their crossbraces to the outers. and that the hans design is poor because its just butt welded. is that true or is the fab shop just trying to sell me globals?

Posted by Mach0ne351 (Member # 927) on :

untrue.....

here are welds of the Hans version...

btw, GW subs weigh 20lbs. more then the HRC ones..

 -

brackets weld to the subs and to the frame/chassis....

i saw the install pics of a global west and the brackets are identical. and if their 20#s more does that mean that they are stronger. why do the hans weihg 20#s less are they weaker? and the gusset thing true?

the HRC subs use a different kind of material, a stronger and lighter kind of material. check out www.hansracecraft.com for more information...
