Just got an email....Shelby Club is having a trackday at Laguna Seca on Black Friday, November 25, 2011. In case anyone wants to sign up, there'll only be 3 groups with 25 cars in each!

I doubt I'll make it, but thought I'd give you guys the heads up [patriot]

Jay... You may need to be a Shelby club member to sign up but I'm not certain. Let me know if you decide to sign up... I may just have to head out with you!

Membership is not required and there's no additional fee if you're not a member either.

It's a combined Shelby Club / Green Flag Driving event.

I can't pass sound so I'm done with that place until they ease up on that bs. My buddies stock GTR got flagged for sound last time and he couldn't believe it either.
Watch out fellas because the colder weather makes the decibels go up and thats bad for us. Swing wide left, and lift between turns 5-6 and you should be ok, the meters on the right side of the track close to the bridge.

LH side exhaust exit sounds like the ticket there.

The chances of Laguna changing the sound limit is slim to none. The locals have tried several times to shut the track down entirely. There are a few days a year that are unlimited sound (no restrictions) but those are usually taken by the big events such as the Historics, Vintage NASCAR, etc.

I have BBK long tube headers, 2 1/2" pipe, 2 chamber Flowmasters out through turn downs and have no problem meeting sound in any kind of weather.
