This was pretty new for me, went to an auto-x put on by the BMWCCA-LA club and they held it...at WSIR Streets of Willow speedway, a 1.8 mile course I think.

I got 3rd place in X class (all non-BMW cars), beat a C6 vette, 2011 5.0, 2xporsche spyder's (one of them wrecked on the first slalom straight on one of his laps, you can see the marks in my vids).


overall a great layout, but organization issues will probably make me not run with this club until I'm sure they've got everything tightened up for better events, I was promised 8 practice laps and 3 timed runs, I got 3 practice laps at a snails pace following other cars and 3 timed laps

the shelby club is going out to Thunder Hill for the spring sprint April 2-3. if you can you should come check it out.

get a truck and a trailer. lol I drive mine to the track, swap the tires and race it hard, then swap them back and drive home. I know its a far drive, but its fun

I have a truck and a trailer, but driving a truck and trailer is not fun at all, especially not an 8 hour drive at 55mph!

I have 3 events I'm trying to make it to over the next month, no driving to thunder hill needed for me there's tons of tracks and events to go to in socal
