thinking of road racing and some straight. looking for ideas on what to get in the rear and upper cotrol arms

Depends on how crazy you want to get with the car. To a certain extent the car can be multi purpose. I imagine your not looking for anything to crazy. As far as upper arms go don't go with anything aftermarket. I know most people do. Problem is anything stiffer will cause the suspension to bind up. The only thing I would consider there would be police/taxi Ford upper control arms and upper diff bushings. These are 50% stiffer. In some cases these will still bind. The lower arms tend to not bind like the uppers. I like either griggs racing lower arms or arms from global west. Good luck

i was leaning towards the max motorsport torque arm and the lowers. or even the upr set. what exactly binds. i have a decent motor and i want to work out the suspension problems. thanks

Well if you get the maximum stuff which is good the upper arms are deleted. I would get the panhard bar along with the torque arm as they work together. The maximum lower arms are good as well. There won't be any binding with no upper arms.

what about the lowers, they have a couple diiferent ones. some are adj. and some are not. dont want to spend 1000+ and buy the wrong parts

Kinda depends on if you are going to run a rear coil over kit or not. If your not the weight jacker arms with the adjustable spring perches are nice. Get them from Maximum. A maximum sales rep should be able to help you out. They are a quality company so just explain to them your goals with the car and they will set you up with what you need.

I'm running the MM adj. lowers with spherical bushings on my car, and I can't tell you how much I like them. They are great. Very strong, no flex.
