What's everyone running for brake pads?....How much time/use are you getting from them?...How fast do you brake pads start to fade?

I have carbon metallic's on my Mustang right now...They stop the car pretty good, but give a helluva lot of brake dust...Anyone running Hawk pads?...

I have the Hawk pads. Along with braided lines. They can be tough on rotors. Don't bother with the high buck Eradispeed rotors. Not woth it IMHO. I've gone through 3 sets of rotors over 100K mi.

I have nerver had them fade.

Yep it does,
The inside of my rims are black [Frown]
I don't have enough time to take my wheels off and clean them every other drive

Then you don't have your' priorities in order. [Razz]

From what I hear, a lot of people are happy with the EBC pads.

At the track, Hawk Blues, withs a good quality slotted rotor. None of the drilled ones. But don't drive around town with them, they will eat the rotors alive.
