I have 165s, and had to flip the quad.

I have 275's on the rear on mine, but I had to use a 1/4" wheel spacer.

I have 275/40/17's on 17x9 in rims and I had to remove the quads and roll the fenders in both my 89 coupe(RIP) and my 90 LX vert.

I only have 255's on my 9" rims and they rubbed. My car is pretty low so I rolled all the fenders. I will get some 275 40 drag radials though and I am sure I will have to remove the quad shocks.

yah, my shits lowered too. If it's stock height, I don't think you have to do much rolling.

I have 315/35 Nitto 555Rs which run a tad small on a 17x9 and the fit perfect! Just have to roll the fenders, and bang out the inner fender wells. It is worth it though, from behind the tire looks about 2 inches wider than a 275 on the same wheel. [burnout]

315 in the rear on 17x10.5 is what my boy has on his 93 gt

Does it rub? Man I want to get wider wheels, but there is no room under there. I have 3 inch tail pipes, I bet your friend has dumps huh? I have maybe 1/4 inch clearance on both sides of my tire, I don't see a 10.5 let alone a 9.5 inch wheel fitting. [Frown]

I have currently 245/45/17 on a 88gt with no prob, I am rolling the rear fender wells and hoping 275/45/17 will fit! [Big Grin]

Anyone know what the backspacing is on a 98 cobra rim? [Confused]

It rubs with people in the back seat if you hit a good sized bump or on the freeway

DVblownS281 What type of mods did he have to do to fit the 315's

probably just get the correct backspacing and roll the fenders
