Gas gauge was not working. Installed a brand new fuel sending unit.

It kind of worked. Fuel level went up but would drop a couple notches and go back up.

Replaced the anti slosh unit on the back of the gauge cluster.

Still was a little jumpy.

I’ve tried two gauge clusters two anti slosh units.

Any help fellas?

If all those components are new. Maybe start looking into the circuit itself. There could be a short, bad ground or damaged wire causing it to act up. You should be able to look up a schematic and resistance values online. Another thing to think about is what brand fuel sending unit you put in. Some of the aftermarket ones are not the best quality and cheap. Good luck! [patriot]
