I have an issue, when i make a left or right turn, it feels as if the wheels are sliding (but its not). There is no water, road is dry etc. it is very minor it seems but i would like to know whats wrong so i can address it. I checked the steering rack, and it is not moving side to side when i turn the wheel, so i guess the rack bushings are good. Could the balljoints (if they are bad) be the issue? I havent got around to checking them yet (i just thought about it). Thanks

Grab the tie rods near their bellows and wiggle them. There shouldn't be any slop. Jack the front end up and wiggle them. Wiggle the wheel too.
