so i have a motorcraft 130 amp alt (im assuming from a ssp), and it did not have 4 gauge fused power wiring, so i bought the kit and installed it. doing so, i decided to replace the voltage regulator plug and the stator plug (stator plug was a female spade connector--didnt like that). while re-wiring everything, i noticed i only had 1 factory black/orange power wire that attached to the stud post on the alt. in the directions and online, it mentions 2 black/orange power wires. so, am i okay with 1?

everything checks out after i installed the new wiring--volts are at 14.3 running with headlights on, radio on, ac on.

The black/orange wire splits into 2 about 2 feet away from the ring terminal. You are okay.
