Picked up a set of ford racing hood pins for my sn95 and before I drilled I was taking measurements and they are gonna be too short. Has anyone here used this pin kit? It's ford racing hood latch kit from American muscle. Any help would be appreciated otherwise I'll just return them

Actually drilling the holes isn't the issue. The pin it's self is too small just was more curious if anyone has used this kit before and how they did it. The measurements I took the top of my pin will barley come thru the hood and these are ford racing pins
