I've put them on two cars now. Good upgrade for sure, no more sloppy steering!

used one on my 97, and have one on my 89 notchback w/sn95 steering rack conversion so it's the 'hybrid' MM shaft.
nothing but good things to say about either one, definitely an upgrade.

my stock steering shaft was rubbing and actually getting stuck on hard right turns after installing MAC long tube headers. i was very indesisive in choosing between maximum motorsports and flaming river.
i ended getting the MM and the steering tightened up and no rubbing at all.
i am very pleased with the MM steering shaft.

I had the MM alloy (solid) steering rack bushings along with the steering shafts on both cars. I didn't notice any extra road noise and I had/have very quiet on exhaust on both cars.
