Hi i have an 01 cobra with a rod knock and was looking for a shop in the east bay for a rebuilt or a cheaper fix lol thanks

There isn't going to be anything cheap about it lol. I recommend Rob's Auto Machine in hayward. Have had multiple engines built by them.

robs machine in hayward does good work and they race cars on the weekends. there are a few mustangs at that place [Smile]

talk to Richard at EFI POWERHOUSE in Santa Clara...
richard does all the assembling himself, and i believe uses daves machine shop.

he's a stand up guy and stands behind his work.

If you're on a budget, find a used Aviator engine and swap the intake over. You'll need a 6 bolt flywheel as well.
