So, I ordered a set of front coil over conversion kit from UPR. i'm running Bilsteins struts from an 03/04 Cobra. I made sure I ordered the 2003/2004 Cobra specific coil over kit (for use WITH Bilsteins. However, I go and put the kit on, and the coil over sleeves look like this when on the strut...

I think that notch is supposed to go lower to prevent the sleeve from spinning, however that's as low as it goes....

Anyone know if UPR sent the right ones? I am waiting for them to call me back.

Ok.
Well I did some research and looked at maximum Motorsports coil over kit. They use a split clamp collar at the base of the sleeve, so the sleeve sits on top of the clamp. I ordered the 2" bore split clamp sleeves (2) and I should have them in a week. I'll post up picks

So I bought the silver clamp to put at the base of the sleeve. Basically to keep the sleeve seated evenly around the strut (like a shelf). Although the sleeve will rotate around, I assume with the vehicle weight it won't just spin around. There's a locking screw on the spring perch/ring to keep it from spinning on the sleeve. -

My only dilemma now is that the top cap of the coil over kit stops here on the strut. So I set the spring up higher to close that gap so the washers and bearings were closed together. However i want to lover the car about two inches now from where it sits, but I believe that too cap will seperately from the main cap and expose the bearing and washers.

Anyone know if this looks normal?
