90 GT AOD stumbles in 3rd and 4th at around 1k RPM's under light throttle. Cleaned the throttle body but didn't help. Doesn't do it in any other gear or under moderate or heavy throttle. Idle has been slightly rough but the idle is steady at about 750 RPM's and doesn't bounce around. Any ideas?

Man I'm having the same exact problem in my 2007 gt manual but only under low rpm acceleration in 2nd and 3rd.

At this point I'm thinking it could be clogged cats. Does ur car still have the cats?

How many miles on that auto transmission?

Have you ever adjusted the idle screw and not reset the TPS?

94K on the car/trans. Shifts great. Never adjusted the idle because it's idling where it should be. Going to replace the MAF to see if that helps

Try cleaning it before replacing.
