I am swapping a complete 2003 gt motor into my 98 gt. I have both cars. Will the computer need to be swapped? Will the cluster work since it is not digital in the 98?

sensors should all work fine, the dash (speedo?) analog gauge gets it's signal from the trans, not the engine. I think the 98 used a digital speedo vss though, my `97 did...I had to use a dallas speedcal to correct my speedo after the 4.30 gear change.

thought you only had to get the adapter for COPS and plug and play?

If he has both cars it would be cheaper to swap it all so he doesnt spend money on something he doesnt need

just use the 98 gt harness and spark plug wires and put the 03 motor in. only thing you'll have to swap is the timing cover for the mounts. done this swap many times.
