I HAVE A 94 FORD MUSTANG COBRA, COMPLETELY STOCK,
WITH THE EXCEPTIONS OF FLOWMASTER EXHAUST. JUST UPGRADED TO 9MM FORD RACING WIRES AND NGK IRIDIUM SPARKPLUGS.

CONCERN:
AFTER 20+ MINS OF DRIVING CAR STARTS TO SURGE/BOG AT/BETWEEN 70-80MPH 1800-2200 RPM. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON FOR A FEW SECONDS UNTIL I GO WOT OR DOWNSHIFT TO 4TH.

I'VE REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP, AND PERFORMED A COMPLETE TUNE UP. CHECKED FOR ANY VACUUM LEAKS BUT STILL OCCURS.

IM THINKING A FAILING INJECTOR?

ANYONE ELSE EVER EXPERIENCE THIS?

IT HAS HAPPENED WITH BOTH.ACTUALLY RUNS BETTER WITH IRIDIUM!

I agree I do not use anything else other than motorcraft or autolites coppers tho.
