Okay thinking of buying a saleen rear bumper for my 89gt, my question is would I have to do any modifications to make it fit since my cars a gt? It says LX models only but what's the difference between GT's rears an LX's rears?

It's no different than putting on a cobra bumper.

Your center body moldings are different between LX and GT

u need lx body pieces for it to fit, well not fit on your gt.

It says LX models only because of the molding that wraps around the car. GT's have that thicker molding and if you mix it with an LX it'll look retarded.

I believe he was wondering if there was a difference in
putting it on.

Sounded like he was confused on why it said LX only on the description to me. Oh well now he knows....

I definitely meant as far as putting it on, neight that's your oppinon which is cool. I'm just trying something different out instead of being the normal like most people on here. I've never seen it done so ima see what it looks like for myself.

A Saleen rear bumper is an add on for a stock LX bumper. It definitely would not work on a GT.
