as far as exact power gains and setup, im not sure probabley the trickflow takes it. But damn that gt-40 tubular is a sick looking intake. my fav by far.

with the money you will spend on a tubular get a holley if your looking for best bang for the buck

Do you guys know anyone selling a holley? I know a someone I can get a killer deal off of. It's the whole shabang. Throttle body, spacer, upper and lower intake, gasket kit, maf. The upper and lower is trick flow. I'm on a college student budget, so I want a good deal. But I also don't want to waste my money.

You can gat a Holley for around 450$-500$ depending if you talk them down or not

Everyone has their opinion and I really appreciate it, but are there any numbers that prove that the holly systemmax 2 is the best for a 302?

Or you can get the cobra intake same thing as the gt tubular as far as power goes

My numbers in my sig... Made with a GT40 (tube) intake.

I was making the same decision as you are and decided with the GT40, knowing that I will be leaving some numbers on the table. When I spoke with Bob, he did say some of his best numbers were with a Holly.

I also have to say that the other Cobra intake is nice and stealthy but aesthetically lacking (just an opinion)

If you're on a budget you can get an intake from an explorer for well under $200. It's pretty much the same as the cobra and gt40, but more plain looking and much less $. Otherwise definitely go for a Holley systemax 2. That's what I'm running and is like it better than any other intake I've owned so far. Including stock, gt40 tubular, trick flow street, & explorer. The systemax retains low end torque but also allows for high rpm horsepower. All the other intakes stated above seem to really fall off the powerband up high.

Here's some dyno testing done between the cobra gt40 & explorer intakes
