Sup guys my 99cobra has a lagg when i step on da gas it dnt accelerate n show true power car was suttin for 5yrs i replaced engine tranny n gas tank but still has a lag what can it be svt guys help me out lmk thanks guys [patriot]

That happened to my boys 4.6. The thing that caused it was that the clutch was sticking. It could be that.

Nope it was actually sticking some how some way. It sounds kind of crazy I know.

Thanks guys for all the advice problem was centerforce clutch was installed on car with stock clutch cable so it didnt grab to good so i went with quadrent n adjustable cable the MAIN PROBLEM for the LAGG was a severely CLOGGED FUEL FILTER...AGAIN THANKS FOR ALL THE ADVICES CAFORDS [patriot] [worship]

New tank 300+/-
Fuel filter 5bucks+/-
Clutch cable 100bucks+/-
Feeling pist for money wrongfully spent priceless.. lol good thing u got it done

So your clutch was never fully engaged? Hopefully that's not what you have to replace next

Yeah I was like wtf [Eek!] [Confused] I don't know what could cause a sticking clutch though. We just swapped it out and it drove fine
