The coupe I bought doesn't have O2 sensors and runs super rich b/c of the open loop. Can someone tell me where to look to see if I have the harness intact or whether I need to find a harness?

The car is an '89 original 2.3L with a 5.0L swap and a 5 speed if that helps.

You can look underneath it to check but if you don't have it in contact it's a 5 speed only harness autos are different

So where under the hood would the harness be located? Fenders? Firewall? This car is a rat's nest. Wires everywhere.... [Roll Eyes]

it should usually be ran along with your starter wire.. see if its there.. it should be somewhere in you engine bay though.. the harness plugs in by the passenger side in the engine bay by the mass air n all that..

The o2 harness plugs into the main harness with a round 8 pin connector on the apron below the MAF meter and the A/C WOT relay.
This harness runs from the 8 pin connector down to passenger o2 around oil pan to the drivers side o2 and low oil sensor in oil pan.
I have reconditioned o2 harnesses available, these are year and transmission specific. (I know the differences)
Please let me know if I can be of help.
Tim
