Max HC (ppm) 120 I GOT 126
Max CO (%) is1.00 I GOT 1.01
No mods that I know of, got the car from a old man said his son rebuilt the engine is all he said
I didn't fail by much however I need help to pass please

Kinda but tighten your exhaust and run some seafoam you SHOULD pass easily by the looks of it. You failed by barely anything but do that and run it kinda hard for 40-50 minutes before you go to get those cats hot and working good

Sounds like your cats are at their limit, if you can get another spout connector for the distributor and remove the internal points so it won't work doing the test, it will get the cats hotter to work harder, works for me when I am close to passings

One bottle of heet quarter of seafoam and changed my dist cap it was worn. Passed THANKS CA FORDS

check to make sure pcv valve is good and give it an oil change if it hasnt had one for awhile.
