how much power are you expecting to run?

3" is overkill for your setup.

I was told by some old man that did my motor from day one according to specs 345 hp sounds about good I'm not trying to fly just wanted some faster than stock and wanted it to run as smooth ass possible with out problems.

3" is to big for your set up. Until you get into deep breathing strokers and the like, you don't need 3" exhaust.

1 5/8 all the way and just the catback 3"

That 3 inch exhaust probably sounds good but its killing your low and mid torque, guaranteed.Your car would feel noticeably better with 2-1/2".
