if you were 180* off it wouldnt start

what was your rocker procedure ?

if you did the "3 position" thats ur problem

you need to do each rocker...in sequence

thats the only right way to do it IMO

.020 is a good start......so 5/16 by 18 will have 18 threads per inch so......break that down into turns and u can figure it out pretty easy....

But urs are pedestal mount so torque them down to 25ft/lbs and measure preload on the tappet at tdc or valve events.

Shim accordingly.

I'd do a compression test first.....

Glad u fixed it..but for reference you mean you shimmed the rockers or torqued to the appropriate values or removed shims? Or do you have stud mount and not pedestal mount rockers?

Posted by Sikwidit-blumaxx88 (Member # 11046) on :

Torqued them and checked Clarence with feeler gauge. Thz for your help.
