I did a carfax on my 2001 mustang and it showed bullitt/gt. it's been resprayed before I bought it and the paint underneath looks like red. I know bullitts didn't come in red so why does it say bullitt. The car doesn't have any bullitt emblems and it has a Saleen body kit so I'm confused. Would be nice to own a bullitt that has only 60k original miles lol.

All foxbody gt's have cobra on there title from a certain year to 93. Probably the same case no offense and bullits have build plaques all over if you can't find nor have the upgraded Mach speakers (going off memory) its a gt

look behind the seat there should be a number there if its a bullit also in the strut tower there should be a number. also does your car have a bullit intake?

So all 2001 gt's show bullitt? I don't know about the manifold I bought it with a blown motor and it went straight to the shop to get built. Where does it show behind the seat?

a badge plaque like james said, and it will most likely say gt/bullit on insurance card too
