i pulled a t56 from a 04 cobra, with t56 fork, 10.5in, 26 sline clutch..

i installed BBK long tubes and the its hitting the clutch fork...id have to cut the fork so that it clears..

anyone have this issue.???

I stayed with shorties, but never heard of that problem. Have you checked on Corral? there's a bunch of threads there.

Something is definitely wrong my buddy runs bbk long tubes on his cobra with no issues.

on my T56 (91 mustang) I used a stock T5 shift fork with stock style non adjustable cable with my 1 5/8 BBK LT's. no issues with stuff not clearing

edit - stock as in the 87-93 stuff

You can not use a 04 cobra t56 in a fox body with longtubes without changing the intermediate plate that changes where the clutch fork comes out...it needs to be changes from 7 to 9 oclockk position.

Do what I did get a grinder and cut.off the fork u need to clear your lt
