I have a pinhole oil pan leak that I think can be welded, if not I will have to buy a oil pan and have someone install it.

I also have a noise coming from the rear end that I need to have checked out (possibly need new gears or bearings).

Rub bar soap into the pinhole to stop the leak, clean the metal and jb weld over it.

hit up brandon in the vendor automotive section. hes done a number of things for my cars and does great work for cheap.

If we can weld a tank FULL of fuel why not an oil pan. It's the vapors that IGNITE, oil won't just spontaneously ignite it has to be very hot to produce fumes. It's also why we used to throw lit matches in to a bucket of gas in the cold of winter in Wyoming no fumes no fire. Yup we were stupid kids. (at Wyo tech)
