what you guys think about powerdyne s/c? reason of asking iam thinking buying one for my carb set up. 6psi. wat you guys thing?

Loved mine. Use it for what it was designed for and you will love it too. They have a more aggressive impeller design which helps make better low end power versus the S-trim family. Just don't try to push it over 9psi.

Absolutely. Make sure you are buying a BD-11 compressor, not the BD-10. I had mine for nearly 7 years. They become inefficient over 9 lbs (or 54,000 rpm impeller speed iirc, it's been a while). 6-9 lbs on a 302 rocks.

They are just different models. The bd11 can support a little more boost than the bd10.

thanx for the info. how will i install s/c with carb set up?

Blow through setup for your carb. Depends on the manufacturer of carburetor you are running as to the setup. Some guys swear by blowthrough carb setups. I have never run one.

holley 650 4barrel mechanical secondary.

I would give Holley Tech Support a shout and have them walk you through the setup. Blow-through/pull- through carb setups have been employed for, literally, over 100 years.

Powerdyne private labeled their blowers to B&M and Ford Racing back in the day. Same kits, just a different tag on the head unit.
