im only running a tfs1 with 1.6's do the stock springs on twisted wedge heads suck?..

I have heard they aren't the best! But I'm running them haven't had any problems yet. I have put 5,000+ miles on mine so far.

They will be fine for that cam. Where are you getting the heads from?

from a friend..used heads so i was thinking bout doing it..but i really dont want to..

The stock valve springs will handle that stage 1 cam with no issues....the only reason to swap out (in your case) is if there weak from having a shit load of miles on them, other then that run them as is.

the older set will not have trickflow engraved on front or the back of head and only id is if you crack the valve cover off it will have a tfs### number between the rockers [patriot]
