jst got my gaskets in 2day n will try n start takin everything apart for the hci swap!!besides the cam would sitting these heads b sumthing i should wait to do until i get proper supervision or is it really not that hard? will need help if anys out there that dnt mind HELPING out!!

get in there and go for it. not too hard.i used a haynes manual my first engine build. dont rush..this room has alot of good people with advice too if u get hung up on somethin

It's straight forward with a pushrod, well atleast 302's, 350's, 305's etc. Just make sure to look at torque specs and how many stages they say to torque them.

its easy (well 4 me it is lol [Big Grin] ), but if ur a wrencher its pretty simple,few good things is make sure everything is clean, re-tap all treads,get / do the rite torque specs & in steps & order of each bolt, double check each thing u do, & take ur time.....

lol i tackled mine for my first try..very easy..just take your time..clean all threads in the block..use teflon paste on your lower bolts on the heads..
