what set ups can i run in a 302 to get in the 450 hp range. i dont care about smog. is there a way i can hit this n/a.

350 Flywheel hp would be very easy with just heads, intake, with a nice flowing exhaust system. Do you want that to be rear wheel though? If so its alot more work. Meaning decent port work and a good tuner.

I built a 386 at the wheels carb 306 with off the shelf parts, nuttin special and nuttin anyone else cant do.

With 10% drivetrain loss thats 424 at the flywheel

With 15% (more like it) thats 444 right where you are wanting to be.

Comp cam
10:1 306
Stock rods and crank
AFR 185s
Victor Jr intake
830 annular carb
duraspark dizzy with msd box
1 3/4 long tubes

right now i got the exhaust down. i have long tubes and 2 1/2 x pipe 2 chamber flows and cut offs. i have rpm air gap intake a eddie 650 carb and a cam unsure off what the specs are. with these parts what combo can i run. i know i need some aftermarket head and possibly a new cam but what.
