I want to know what's the best mass air to use for 42lb injectors on a 5.0. Heads, cam, intake, supercharged! Also how many millimeters should I get as well

blow through or draw through?

I went with a PMAS blow through 80mm on my combo, h/c/i/procharger.

i had a LMAF on a stock hci blown setup. after i upgraded my hci, i contacted aed and told them my setup. they recommended i swap out to a pro-m 80mm maf which i did. tune came out great and it's been running strong.

i would ask the tuner what they recommend.

I also was going to run the lightning mass air ,then I also talked to aed and they said pro-m..so 75MM is what I will be running

Pro M has some good info on selecting the right size here:

Using larger than needed MAFs or throttle bodies does not make more horsepower.

If you car is already tuned for a lightning MAF then you will need a retune. Are you sure it's the MAF? I would suggest bringing it back to Nexgen and get them to sort it out before swapping parts.

SCT MAF is probably one of the best and will require a tune to work with your car.

Im in the same boat, 42lb injectors with a lmaf but with a turbo setup on a fox.

There is absolutely nothing wrong the the LMAF itself. To be honest the aftermarket manufacturers barely come close. The meter offers good resolution at idle and low flow points allowing for good idle tuning/control and it also offers decent range for applications using enough fuel to require 42# injectors. Now if you are going big...a combo that will peg the LMAF then of course you need something bigger(not necessarily better). I've seen 480rwhp blown 302 combos with various injectors 42-50-60lbs) and they do come close if not right on pegging the meter (with 42-50 injectors getting dangerously high in duty cycle).

I guess it depends on what your current combo is...
