under load at about 3000rpm the car falls on it face and starts poppin and backfiring. timing is good new ignition mod, cap and rotor plugs and wires. swapped computers no change. just looking for any suggestions. thanks

check mass air and EGR valve...sometimes can have issues with those items...

Time for new O2 sensors? Have you checked your Air Fuel ratios?

check ur ground for the injector harness also if you have a fuel gauge make sure its at 38psi

Check fuel pressure first and all your plug wires.

thanks for all the input guys. it was a bad ignition mod. on the distributor. got 2 new ones from napa that were bad found a distributor in my garage with a factory motorcraft part and it took care of the problem. thanks again for the input.
