I got bbk pullies for my 04 gt, do you have to replace the altenator? I have had a brand new battiery die in 6 months and they told me it was because of the pullies, is this true? If so, does any one know what alt i need to get. THanks

i have a buddie that has a 00 gt w/ those underdrive pullies and he has never had any problem like that. try this turn on your car then disconnect your battery and if your car shuts off then your altenator is bad.

dont do that. every car will shutt off when you disconnect the battery when its running. your car runs off the battery, the alternator simply charges your battery back up. i would just make sure your alternator is putting out enough juice take it to kragen and they can test if for you.
