I have a 93 gt and the same thing happened to me twice.I switched to a stock cable and honestly I think it feels alot better and have not had a problem with it yet. there was just to much to adjust with the firewall, quadrant and the cable.

The firewall adjuster will have more adjustment that the adjustable UPR cable, what you are trying to do is the right way to go.

that is exactly what is suggested, adjustable cables tend to stretch while the stocker dosen't as much.

Adj. Quadrant and Firewall adjuster combined with the stock cable? perfect [patriot]
