i have a 97 v6 5 speed and when i was doing in oil change, i saw that the drive shaft had a ring on it and its was loose. i was going to take it off but just left it on .. all the nose it makes down there is starting to get on my nerve's .. so if anyone can help me out .... Thanx [patriot]

did it look like the ring fit anywhere near an area down there...maybe check in a Chiltons Guide to see if you can match the ring with something in the book...not sure if that helps ya...sorry
