This may sound REALLY dumb but does it really matter the size of the battery you buy for your car? I understand if a battery is to small of course it wont do the job but can a battery really be to "big"?

as long as it fits where it needs to, has the correct post style, and has the CCA amperage the stock battery had, or more, a battery is a battery.

i was thinking of getting an optima battery for my car which one would be better the red top or the yellow top and what model is for the mustang i was looking for a new battery online to help but couldn't find anything because i read somewhere that some are too tall and wouldn't fit thanks in advance
