my gas gauge stays on full everytime i pump gas, it goes down and back up everytime i start the engine again and it stays on empty when i'm really on empty, can someone help me?

Also, my trunk closes all the way, it locks, but i can still lift it up about half an inch, can someone tell me what could be wrong and if its easily fixable.

one last thing, my lock/unlock doesnt work, but window works anything specific i can check up on fuse? thanks in advance

ps. new to mustang

The fuel tank sending unit is most likely bad. I had the same problem when I first got my stang. Its located on the upper part of the gas tank.

On the trunk, the striker bushing or bolt piece could be worn or not aligned properly.

If the fuse is good that controls the switch, the lock/unlock switch could be bad .pull the plate cover off and check for power going to the switch. A pick n pull would have a replacement piece for fairly cheap.
