i just got a 1990 gt dude said just got a new trans and clutch 200 miles ago. car runs great drove it to sac and back today as i was getting off the freeway in vacaville you can here this clicking hella loud im guessing its the trans cause the motor is very strong. someone chime in thanks. dan

you need to be more specific, a clicking could be a lot of things, your drive shaft, or rearend,do you have a balancer on the drive shaft (maybe it came loose), if it is t-5 they do not usualy make clicking noise. could be suspension cuz 80 is rough highway. i am in fairfeild and would love to help, or get a hold or jonhb

Do a quick check and make sure nothing is loose/broken/missing. More than likely, it's something simple.

its got to be the trans its a t-5 its loud when the clutch is out then with it in it get s a little quiter.. if you guys could hit me up im off tommoro would appriciate some one to tell me what it was. willing to pay you guys for some help thanks call me and leave me a message. 707 372 0979. i live on berryessa dr. next to cosco. thanks dan

o ya i think it will make it to fairfield it runs fast cause i dont really know when it started on the freeway.. but a 5.0 for 1400.00 bucks it my lil project. got some cold beer. for some knowledge and some money for some help

hey dude, sorry i've been drunk lately. let me know if you still need some help. about that wc t-5, it depends i've torn up a wc t-5 in less then 20k before.
