How the flip do u remove all the air from the system on 96-04 GTs? Shouldi remove the cap from the coolant fill tank/resivor? or what? car heats up pretty hot after a few minutes and stays hot for about a few hours...any help thanks...

i drive it around and it gets pretty warm, it actually gets pretty warm when i just start it up and let it idle. im sure there is air in the system, but there is not radiator cap, just the cap on the coolant fill tank...would that help release some of the air in the syster? should i raise the front end as well? thanks

If you are getting plenty of hot air coming out of the vents when the heater is on then you don't have air in the cooling system.

i would replace the coolent and thermostat, and go from their. i had this problem w/ my 94. i ran coolent with no water and a 160 degree thermo and cooling gague reads a little less them half...

ok let me see if the heater is hot...but i know the upper radiator hose gets hot as f**k...i'll go ahead and do the thermostat and fluid...thanks guys

Never run straight coolant and don't go lower than a 190 temp t stat.
