to those who use the metal flex fans in place of the stock piece, how many of you took out the fan shroud? will taking out the shroud affect anything with the car? i know it's basically designed to be a wind tunnel, but these fans blow a shit load of air around the engine bay.. so the shroud really needed? anybody want to chime in?

At low speed or at an idle the fan blades will create turbulence within the engine bay. The fan shroud is needed because it draws air through the radiator fins instead of spreading air across them.

im running no shroud or overflow but will put on soon. it draws more direct air towards rad. my car funs fine though with no problem though still.
