MAC hands down. I have LT headers, o/r H, and MAC mufflers dumped on my 86GT and it sounds mean as f**k. Nothing else sounds like it.

Also, check out http://www.mustangexhaust.com . You have to sign up, it's free, they have tons of sound clips of different exhaust set-ups.

For boost, go with any straight thru muffler. Do you just want loudness? If so, I had 2 chamber flowmasters(dumped) and an offroad h-pipe and the car was loud [Roll Eyes]

Quiet... go with superturbo muffs.

I heard good things about MAC....my car is an auto though so no matter what I put on it....its not going to sound as nice as a manual

I wonder how 1 chamber flows would sound dumped off a 427 big block?

i tried the dynomax race bullets and they werent loud enough for me.... IM running straigh pipes with stock tails and it sounds really good... especially when its cold it pos and crackles alot.. i like that personally but i dint like the flows i thought they were too quiet so i tried the race bullets after that and they were good for awhile but they got quiet so now im straight pipes with stock tails and it sounds pretty good to me.... just my 2cents

IMHO, 2 chamber Flows still one of the best sounding

I prefer a mellow exhaust note that only roars on WOT. I have a borla xr1 setup with a catted bassani x and it really screams on WOT and it does not have a drone.
