I'm using a 1985 Ford T-5 transmission in my Falcon conversion and need to move the shifter forward. I know others have used the S-10 (T-5)Chevrolet tail to mount the shifter closer but I'm not sure how the speedometer output is moved. Does the S-10 mainshaft interchange with the ford unit or do I have to make a new mounting for the speedometer drive gear?

Talk to Bruce. If anyone can point you in the right direction he can.
