I just buy a code reader and clear it?

No, I dont think so. If it was it wasn't reported, b/c it's not on the Car-fax report.

would that affect it??????

actually that car has been bumped [Wink] so that may be why it is blinking.

being bumped isnt going to make the light come on i was asking if it had been wrecked because if the bags were blown before mabye whoever fixed it didnt do something right ie, didnt change the module or? check all your plugs and make sure everything is connected good otherwise your best bet would be to take it to the dealer and have them check it out [Wink]

The fender has been replaced. But there is no accidents on Car-fax, nothing about air-bags going off. If thats the case, the owner must have paid cash. I check the connections in the front and if thats not it is thier any thing else.

PS, thanks for the help [patriot]

other than the connections it could be a number of things like faulty sensors, module, clock spring, damaged wiring some where. Its been awhile since i have fixed a foxbody that needed airbags they total out pretty easy nowadays but the airbag wiring should be in a yellow plastic harness, i cant remember how many sensors either but i can look in the book and let you no how many and where if i can get ahold of a scanner i will post some diagrams and stuff wont be untill evening time cause i have to drive to merced and pick up my new coupe but when i get back i will drive to my shop and grab the book [Smile]

oh and before you start unpluging anything diconnect your battery for like 10min first just to be safe i had a coworker that had a steering wheel bag go off in his face when he pluged it in trust me you dont want that to happen
also in icar certification class they told us about a guy who was outside the car and stuck his arm through the window and through the steering wheel to start the car and when he turned the key on the bag blew and broke his arm [Eek!] i dont do that anymore haha
