Don't forget that u need new axles also when replacing bearings.

Why?...

Phat50~If your car chatters while turning, I'd believe it's a differential problem...

that's your clutches in your limited slip carrier causing that noise if it's only on turns.
either you need lsd fluid or your cluthes went bad.

The axles could be screwed......

Forgot to mention check em to make sure they aren't worn/groved.

Here's a list of what this could be.

Bad axle bearings
Bad Diff
Incorrectly shimmed brake calipers (If disk)
If disk check rotor to make sure is sits right on the axle itself
To get the axle bearings out you'd need a 3 jaw slide hammer.
They make two different bearings, one for new axles and one for used axles called repair bearings. To get them in get a large socket which matches the outer diameter of the bearing and pound it in. To get the axles seals out use the end of one axle and pry them off. Install the new seals as you did the bearings with the right size socket.

I'd have someone take a look at it before you start dumping cash into things. Could be an easy fix or could mean new diff.

take it in to rear end specialties.

It's like $60 bucks for an expection. But you get new oil and friction modifier. [Big Grin]
